Information regarding the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

Here are the latest updates from the organization committee

It was earlier announced that ICBL 2020 would be postponed to 24 to 27 August 2020 owing to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. We have been continuously monitoring the development of the pandemic situation, while remaining optimistic and realistic about the impacts on our conference. There remain only 2 months before the conference, and it is time most of our conference participants started to make visa application and travel arrangement. However, the present situation is still unclear and there are still travel restrictions in many places. Some participants also expressed their concerns on health issues. After considering various factors, in particulars, the health and well-being of our conference participants, the Organizing Committee of ICBL 2020 has decided to hold the conference as scheduled but in online mode. Detailed arrangement will be provided in July 2020. Meanwhile, you may rest assured that the publication of the conference proceedings would not be affected. Copies of the conference proceedings will be sent to individual entitled participants via courier, right after the conference. Should you have any questions, please contact us at icbl.2020@cityu.edu.hk.
