You are cordially invited to participate in the 9th International Symposium on Educational Technology (ISET 2023) to be held in Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Hong Kong SAR, China from 17 to 20 July 2023.
Broadly covering instructional technology, information and communication technology for educational purposes, educational technology aims to enhance learning effectiveness and enrich learning experience through the effective and innovative use of technology. Over the past two years, owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers and students have adapted to live with social distancing requirements via various technological means. Inevitably, educational technology has become an irreversible force driving many changes in teaching and learning practices. While technology-mediated learning has become part of the new normal, it is time for researchers and practitioners in the field to reflect what we have learnt and explore the ways forward on the effective and innovative use of technology in teaching and learning.
Under the theme Technological Innovations: Lessons Learned and Ways Forward, ISET 2023 aims to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and experience sharing among researchers and practitioners in the field. Original papers reporting advances and innovations in educational technology are welcome. The topics of interests include, but not limited to:
Paper Submission: Original papers should be written in English and submitted by 31 January 2023 14 March 2023 (final). Your paper should follow the IEEE's two-column proceedings format in 4 to 5 pages for regular papers, and 2 to 3 pages for short papers. The Symposium Proceedings will be published by the IEEE Computer Society CPS, and submitted to the IEEE Xplore, IEEE CSDL and EI indexing. Best/Excellent Paper Awards will be granted to authors of papers with exceptional merits. Authors of selected good papers will be invited to submit extended papers (with substantial new contents) to Electronics (SCI-indexed, IF=2.690) Special Issue on "Technology-Mediated Agile Blended Learning", Frontiers in Education (ESCI-indexed and Scopus-indexed) Special Issue on "Agile Blended Learning: Pedagogical Perspectives", or SN Computer Science (Scopus-indexed) "Innovation and Technology in Education" Section.
